What You'll Do
  • Lead multiple, concurrent merchandising projects from kickoff through completion, including Minis, campaigns, promotions, holidays, and other priority initiatives.
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, recaps, and action plans to keep work moving and ensure commitments are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional partners across Merchandising and the broader organization, clarifying roles, dependencies, decisions, and next steps.
  • Anticipate project risks, resource needs, and potential roadblocks; develop practical solutions and escalate issues when needed.
  • Provide clear, concise project updates to leadership and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, decisions, risks, and required actions.
  • Manage creative asset reviews and approvals, ensuring feedback is captured, aligned, and incorporated within established timelines.
  • Facilitate assortment-management activities and support the accurate, timely execution of merchandising plans.
  • Develop and manage fixture briefs in partnership with merchants and cross-functional teams.
  • Support the optimization of merchandising systems and tools, including Monday.com and Smartsheet, to improve visibility, collaboration, and execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within Merchandising Operations and across the larger organization.
  • Partner with Sephora at Kohl's merchants to strengthen coordination, improve team efficiency, and support shared priorities.
  • Maintain clear, current process documentation, templates, and team resources that reflect evolving workflows and ways of working.
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve.


What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of project management experience; experience in retail, merchandising, beauty, or a related environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects, competing priorities, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across teams and levels.
  • A strategic, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the judgment to identify risks and move work forward.
  • Natural curiosity and the ability to ask thoughtful questions that create clarity and lead to better outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse cross-functional partners.
  • Hands-on experience using Monday.com and Smartsheet to manage projects, workflows, timelines, and stakeholder visibility.

What You'll Get:

The annual base salary range for this position is $102,000.00 - $114,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of five days.
