Essential Responsibilities:- Provide technical support on MEP systems, coordinate with other disciplines internally as well as externally with consultants and engineering
- Complete reviews of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical System design for new construction on Commercial, low and high-rise residential buildings
- Provide and manage design optimization for Clients
- Assists with MEP procurement process
- Prepare and coordinates MEP tender bids and analysis, levels scope of work
- Prepare and coordinate equipment shop drawing submittal logs and prioritizes long lead equipment delivery items
- Manages clash detection with MEP and other disciplines
- Manages change requests from the client due to revised design or scope
- Reviews and confirms MEP installation is in accordance with plans, specifications, shop drawings, applicable building codes and that quality standards are maintained
- Reviews and coordinates MEP construction schedule to meet milestones and completion dates
- Identifies and manages opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule
- Creates and facilitates the project commissioning program, leads commissioning meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project. Applies the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote overall compliance with Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S Acts, regulations and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project
Qualifications:- 5+ years of related work experience as a Project Manager or in a similar direct managerial/supervisory role
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, Outlook, Word, Excel & MS project
- Professional experience on large MEP projects with scope packages
- Completed post-secondary education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or trade experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of all MEP building systems including controls and operations
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Self-motivating and ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid provincial driver's license
Working Conditions:- Site & Office based position in Caledon, Ontario

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
