Full Job Description
First Derivative is driven by people, data, and technology, unlocking the value of insight, hindsight, and foresight to drive organizations forward. Counting many of the world's leading investment banks as clients, we help our clients navigate the data-driven, digital revolution that is transforming the financial services sector. Our global teams span across 15 offices serving clients across EMEA, North America and APAC.

As an EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM) company, a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services, we deliver advanced financial services solutions by empowering operational insights, driving innovation, and enabling more effective risk management in an increasingly data-centric world. Together with EPAM, we combine deep industry expertise with cutting-edge technology to help clients stay ahead in a rapidly evolving financial landscape, offering comprehensive solutions that drive business transformation and sustainable growth.

We are looking for a seasoned, strategic Project Manager to join the core Program Management Team, driving one of the most high-impact Markets Transformation initiatives in the industry. This is a front-line change leadership role - working directly with senior stakeholders across the front office, COO, risk, and technology to deliver complex, business-critical projects that will redefine how the bank operates.

If you thrive in high-pressure environments, know how to navigate competing priorities, and have the confidence to challenge senior leadership when it matters, this is your stage.

Please note that working from the office 3-4 days per week is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with Program Initiative Leads to deliver strategic priorities on time and at scale
  • Lead and facilitate workshops, working groups, and stakeholder sessions to define requirements, shape solutions, and lock in delivery plans
  • Provide expert guidance and constructive challenge to ensure initiatives align with long-term strategy
  • Oversee interdependencies across multiple workstreams, collaborating closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control, and Technology teams
  • Proactively identify risks and resolve challenges, escalating where necessary with clarity and authority
  • Engage senior stakeholders continuously, ensuring they are aligned, informed, and supportive
  • Produce clear, insightful updates and materials for executive committees and governance forums
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across functions to ensure cohesive execution of complex programs

REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years' experience in financial services, ideally within capital markets
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale, strategic transformation programs in capital markets or investment banking
  • Significant experience within the Front Office / COO space, delivering tangible outcomes
  • Strong ability to scope, prioritise, and execute complex initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills - persuasive, clear, and confident with senior audiences
  • Solid understanding of performance tracking, governance, and reporting mechanisms
  • A collaborative but assertive leadership style, able to influence and challenge at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with sharp problem-solving capability

NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in regulatory change programs
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as business, finance, or technology
  • Hands-on experience working directly with Front Office stakeholders

WE OFFER
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Subsidized)
  • Health Savings Account
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, Commuter)
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (Company Provided)
  • Life and AD&D Insurance (Company Provided)
  • Employee Assistance Program
