Responsibilities:
  • Manage self-performed industrial construction, industrial service, and industrial general contracting projects.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and execution strategy, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Use Microsoft Project to develop & monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and analytics.
  • Coordinate with superintendents and leadership to allocate resources effectively and adjust priorities to meet key deadlines and milestones.
  • Define stakeholder roles and maintain alignment across teams to ensure accountability and efficient execution.
  • Monitor project performance (schedule, cost, quality), identify variances, and implement corrective actions to stay on track.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to align resources, resolve issues, and remove execution barriers.
  • Oversee risk management, change control, quality assurance, and communication plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams to manage expectations and drive progress.
  • Assist with estimating (budgets and change request/field order quotations).
  • Request, review, analyze, qualify, and select subcontractor quotes.
  • Forecast and verify the costs, revenue, and gross profit of given projects bi-weekly to accurately portray the expected financial outcome to key stakeholders.
  • Complete and submit required permits as needed.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of industrial and/or commercial contracting project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience managing a variety of trade disciplines including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, rigging, foundations, structural steel, machine repair, carpentry, and controls.
  • Able to conceptualize multi-trade projects with or without engineered prints, schematics, and drawings.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Able to travel occasionally and answer emergency calls as needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Mobility & Navigation: The ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, and bend while traversing active construction sites.
  • Lifting & Carrying: Frequent ability to lift and move up to 10-25 pounds (like laptops, blueprints, or small tools), with occasional demands to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Sensory Demands: Excellent visual acuity (including depth perception and color vision) to inspect blueprints and site quality, as well as the ability to focus on specific sounds and speech in loud environments.
  • Environmental Exposure: Resilience to withstand varying outdoor weather, loud noise, vibrations, and potential exposure to airborne particles or dust.
  • PPE Capability: Physical ability to safely wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hard hats, heavy boots, safety vests, and hearing or eye protection.
