Project Manager

Program Summary

The Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office manages critical modernization, acquisition, and sustainment programs to deliver rapid, resilient capabilities to military and defense operators. Operating within highly structured and secure environments, the TAGM Project Office ensures that air and ground platforms and tactical technologies are systematically developed, integrated, and sustained to maintain absolute battlefield dominance and mission readiness.

Job Summary

The KBR Project Manager is a key leadership role responsible for directing a multidisciplinary team across operations, security, and other support functions. This position serves as the primary liaison between KBR leadership, customer stakeholders, and the project team to foster a supportive, compliant, and highly productive work environment. The successful candidate will ensure seamless day-to-day execution, operational readiness, and alignment with critical organizational and contractual milestones.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Provide ongoing mentorship, guidance, and conflict resolution to support staff and address team concerns, ensuring a healthy and productive work environment.

· Host mandatory weekly meetings to align team members on mission objectives, identify and resolve roadblocks, and ensure continuous operational readiness.

· Serve as the primary conduit for cascading critical KBR information, safety notices, and organizational announcements to all project staff.

· Ensure all employee time sheets are reviewed for accuracy and submitted on schedule to maintain strict billing, payroll, and audit compliance.

· Monitor project timelines, track deliverables, and manage milestones to ensure all contractual and strategic objectives are met.

· Actively identify operational, schedule, or security risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to guarantee uninterrupted mission support.

· Conduct regular performance evaluations, manage resource allocation, resolve scheduling conflicts, and interface with leadership to report on status and operational metrics.

Basic Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

· Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

· Security Clearance: Active Secret (or higher) security clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

· Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)® or equivalent program management certification.

· Industry Context: Demonstrated experience managing personnel specifically in operations, security, or defense contracting environments.

· Defense Sector Expertise: Prior experience supporting Department of War (DoW) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs, specifically within tactical systems or acquisition program offices.
