LDAR Project Manager to join their safety-conscious team at a customer site! This position is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) programs-from planning and scheduling through execution, compliance, and client reporting-while ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
The LDAR Project Manager combines strong technical expertise in fugitive emissions monitoring with project leadership, team management, and customer engagement. This role serves as the primary liaison between field teams, customers, and operations leadership to ensure successful project delivery, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service execution.

WORKING ENVIRONMENTIndustrial settings including refineries, petrochemical plants, utilities, oil & gas facilities, and pulp & paper mills. Work may include both field and office responsibilities, with exposure to complex and physically demanding environments.
ResponsibilitiesProject & Program Management- Provide oversight and direction for LDAR programs from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with contract scope, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations
- Develop and oversee project schedules, staffing strategies, and resource planning in coordination with site supervisors
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure operational and financial success
- Review project specifications, regulatory requirements (e.g., 40 CFR Part 60/63), and site procedures to ensure compliance and execution consistency
LDAR Technical Oversight- Provide high-level technical oversight of LDAR activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory protocols
- Guide supervisors in the proper application, calibration, and maintenance of monitoring equipment such as TVA/FID analyzers and OGI cameras
- Oversee data validation processes, reporting accuracy, and database management systems (e.g., LeakDAS, GuideWare, SkyBridge)
- Partner with site leadership and maintenance teams to ensure effective repair strategies and compliance closure
Leadership & Operational Oversight- Lead and develop frontline supervisors and site leadership, providing coaching, performance management, and operational direction
- Establish clear expectations and accountability for safety, quality, and productivity across LDAR teams through supervisory staff
- Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing standards and ensuring alignment across all levels of the operation
- Conduct periodic operational reviews, audits, and performance assessments to drive continuous improvement
Client & Account Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication
- Lead business reviews, performance discussions, and strategic planning sessions with clients
- Identify opportunities for program optimization, expansion, and new business development
- Ensure customer KPIs and service expectations are consistently met through effective program oversight
Compliance & Safety- Ensure all LDAR activities comply with EPA regulations and site-specific environmental requirements through supervisory and operational controls
- Reinforce adherence to safety protocols, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses across all teams
- Ensure accurate and audit-ready documentation for regulatory inspections and compliance reviews
Data Management & Reporting- Oversee the integrity of data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
- Ensure accurate tracking, tagging, and documentation of components and emissions data
Review and present program performance reports, compliance reports, and key metrics to internal and external stakeholders
QualificationsQualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of industrial experience, including LDAR, environmental services, or industrial maintenance
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience, including management of supervisors or multi-level teams preferred
- Strong knowledge of LDAR regulations, including EPA Method 21 and applicable federal/state requirements
- Experience with LDAR data management systems (LeakDAS, GuideWare, SkyBridge, etc.) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead through others, influence operations, and drive performance at a program level
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical reporting and executive-level presentations
- Valid driver's license required; TWIC card required
- OSHA 10/30, confined space entry, and other safety certifications preferred
