Responsibilities and Expectations:

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Engineering, Innovation & Customer Projects to lead customer repair programs, engineering initiatives, and strategic innovation projects that support the continued growth of IPS's Industrial Repair and Renewable Energy businesses.

This role is responsible for managing projects from quotation approval through final shipment while also leading new repair capability development, engineering validation, technology transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as the central point of coordination between Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality and Sales, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will combine strong project management skills with technical knowledge, business awareness, and a passion for innovation to expand IPS's capabilities across Industrial Repair and Renewable Energy markets.

Project Management
• Projects have to S.M.A.R.T - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Bound.
• Manage multiple customer repair and engineering projects simultaneously from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and customer status meetings.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure all customer commitments are achieved while maintaining IPS quality and safety standards.

Engineering & Innovation Projects

Lead engineering and innovation initiatives that expandIPS's Industrial Repair and Renewable Energy repair capabilities.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing engineering development projects.
• Leading new repair capability introductions projects.
• Coordinating New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Managing pilot repair programs and proof-of-concept projects.
• Supporting technology transfer projects between IPS locations.
• Developing project business cases and implementation plans.
• Managing capital equipment and laboratory improvement projects.
• Managing inventory projects.
• Managing hardware surplus projects.

Qualifications and Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of project management experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and project reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification- preferred.
• Experience with technology transfer or New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Experience using Microsoft Project, Power BI, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Must have a valid driving license to travel between local business locations.

Travel Requirements
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to other IPS locations throughout the United States.
• Travel may include visits of up to one (1) week per month, depending on project requirements, technology transfer activities, engineering support, and new product introduction initiatives.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally to the United States are required.
