JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates and delivers technical and non-technical projects across Information Technology, ensuring successful execution, effective stakeholder communication, and alignment with business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates technical and non-technical aspects of projects, working with cross-functional teams to support successful delivery.
  • Creates, maintains, and monitors project charters, project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, work hours, and project documentation.
  • Monitors project progress, quality, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns appropriately and helping drive timely resolution.
  • Supports project financial management by tracking budgets, forecasts, expenditures, and variances while maintaining alignment with approved funding.
  • Coordinates project teams and assists with resource allocation and day-to-day project execution.
  • Builds effective working relationships with Information Technology teams, business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
  • Provides regular project status updates, dashboards, metrics, and KPIs to communicate project health and delivery progress.
  • Applies project management methodologies, governance, and best practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
  • Performs work independently while appropriately seeking guidance on complex or high-impact decisions.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve project delivery through process improvements, automation, AI-assisted capabilities, reporting enhancements, or project management tools.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of PMO standards, templates, tools, governance, and reporting processes.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant project management or PMO experience.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project planning, scheduling, risk management, and project lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, expenditure tracking, and variance reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with Information Technology teams, business partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Experience using OnePlan, Oracle PPM, or similar project portfolio management (PPM) tools.
  • Experience working within a technology environment with an understanding of custom application development, cloud implementations, on-premises software, and enterprise systems.
  • Experience presenting project status and recommendations to directors, senior leaders, or steering committees is preferred.
  • Familiarity with applying AI, data, or automation to improve project delivery, reporting, or operational efficiency is a plus.

Nice to have
  • Experience with Oracle PPM/Procurement modules.
  • Experience working within an enterprise PMO.
