Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for project communication and lead cross-functional project teams.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project performance and take corrective action as necessary to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to support continuous improvement and contribute to PMO standards.

Job Description:
Manages projects of moderate complexity, with accountability for successful delivery aligned to Essentia Health's strategic goals. Works with a high degree of independence to plan, execute, and deliver projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget.

Applies project management methodologies (hybrid) to guide project execution across the full lifecycle. Partners with business and technical stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, policies, and standards.

Leads cross-functional project teams and serves as the primary point of contact for project communication. Builds and maintains strong stakeholder relationships and ensures transparency through regular status reporting and effective communication.

Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks, issues, and dependencies. Monitors project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource utilization, and takes corrective action as needed to ensure successful outcomes.

Supports organizational change management efforts to drive adoption and realization of project benefits. Facilitates decision-making, removes barriers, and ensures teams are aligned and progressing toward defined objectives.

Conducts post-project evaluations, including lessons learned and benefits realization, to support continuous improvement. Contributes to PMO standards, tools, and best practices, and may provide guidance or mentorship to less experienced team members.
