Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management skills, capable of fulfilling engineering team responsibilities.
• Broad knowledge across engineering disciplines including instrumentation, electrical, civil, mechanical, and chemical.
• Proven experience leading and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Expertise in safety analysis techniques such as HAZOP or FEMA.
• Proficiency in developing and interpreting mechanical design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to $50M capital projects, including scoping, estimating, and authoring expenditure requests.
• Communicate project status to senior staff and deliver formal presentations to stakeholders.
• Develop proposals and RFQs focusing on capital investments; collaborate with vendors to enhance system performance.
• Create technical specifications ensuring compliance with local standards; maintain Engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Design and troubleshoot mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, and control systems, recommending modifications as needed.
• Oversee the commissioning and startup processes for new or modified equipment.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all project phases.
