OverviewThe Project Manager II is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing all aspects of a utility construction project including target setting/management and timelines, maintaining strategic and analytical oversight across multiple simultaneous projects or project tracts, communicating with leadership as appropriate, developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to the appropriate work planning and execution processes.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of large-scale, major strategic business and technology projects.
- Effectively collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives and present solutions to business challenges.
- Responsible for budget and resource planning.
- Single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements.
- Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of large-scale, major strategic projects including projec scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design.
- Provide project status updates and executive-level reportin
- Build business cases and project justifications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications- B.S. in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval.
- PMP or other Program Management certifications, training and/or demonstrated experience.
- Advanced degree in Business or Engineering, preferred.
- Minimum 6-8 years experience managing complex technical and/or civil construction projects with three or more simultaneous work streams.
- Project Management knowledge required.
- Must be able to assess the potential financial impact of a project.
- Must possess the ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
- Must be able to build solid business cases/project justifications.
- Ability to manage deliverables at all levels of the business structure from entry level to executive level management.
- Proven aptitude and demonstrated experience for high volume, complex projects and program management.
- Capability of exercising discretion and independent judgment in the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, preferred.

Wage Data Per State RequirementsSalary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
