Full Job Description
Project Manager in Franklin, Massachusetts. The Project Manager serves as the key liaison between customers, the iAutomation Sales team, and internal operations. This role is responsible for translating customer expectations into actionable plans and coordinating execution across functional teams to ensure project success. The Project Manager will manage initiatives related to engineering change orders (ECOs), new product introductions, and quality issues while maintaining clear and proactive communication with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary project interface between customers, the iAutomation Sales team, and internal operational functions.
  • Communicate customer expectations to internal stakeholders in a timely and clear manner to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to manage ECO changes, new product introductions, and resolution of quality concerns.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across engineering, purchasing, quality, and production to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements.
  • Track and manage project milestones, deliverables, and timelines using Kanban metrics to ensure alignment with customer commitments.
  • Proactively communicate any significant schedule or delivery changes to the customer, along with supporting rationale and recovery plans.
  • Participate in customer and internal meetings as needed to report project status and resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned from past projects.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations, identifying successes, challenges, and areas for improvement for future projects.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in analytical, Engineering, Business or a related field with 3+ years of experience in managing projects, preferably in a manufacturing or engineered products environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams
    • Strong Microsoft Excel experience
    • Microsoft Project / Planner experience is desired

Salary Range: $82,000 - $100,000 annually.
This range reflects the expected base pay for this position in Massachusetts and is based on internal equity and the established job family compensation structure. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and performance.
