Job Title: Enterprise IT Project Manager (Business Analysis Focus)

Overview / Summary

Seeking a Project Manager with strong business analysis capabilities to support the successful delivery of strategic and tactical IT initiatives. This role will lead and support complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects from initiation through closure, ensuring clear requirements, defined scope, effective communication, and disciplined project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, communication, and resource coordination.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, communication plans, status reports, and executive updates.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including internal IT, vendors, subject matter experts, and business partners.
  • Facilitate work sessions to validate scope, requirements, and deliverables while maintaining alignment with sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support procurement processes, including RFPs, SOWs, and vendor oversight, in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, security requirements, records management standards, and project governance frameworks.

Business Analysis
  • Lead requirements elicitation activities including interviews, workshops, journey mapping, process modeling, and data analysis.
  • Document business, functional, nonfunctional, and user story requirements, including acceptance criteria.
  • Define current-state and future-state processes, workflows, and data flows while quantifying KPIs and business value.
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, data, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into solution designs.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy options and support the creation of diagrams, models, and integration patterns when required.

Change Management & Adoption
  • Develop change management and communication plans.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover activities, readiness planning, and post-launch support.
  • Support user adoption through metrics, user feedback, and continuous improvement activities.

Documentation Deliverables
  • Project Charter
  • Requirements Documents / User Stories
  • Process Diagrams and Data Flows
  • Project Schedule and Work Breakdown Structure
  • RAID Logs and Decision Logs
  • Status Reports and Dashboards

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience with moderate to high complexity projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis and process redesign.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT, regulatory, compliance, or enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple work efforts simultaneously.
  • Strong schedule management and resource planning skills.
  • Ability to identify, map, and reengineer business processes.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse technical and business teams while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Deadline-driven approach.

Preferred Certifications
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable certification preferred.
