Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Project Manager oversees commercial and/or multi-family electrical projects from inception to completion. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and executing while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage all phases of electrical projects, including scheduling, procurement, and installation.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, resolve issues, and ensure milestones are on track.
  • Manage project documentation, change orders, RFI's, submittals, and closeout processes.
  • Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and deliverables.
  • Support procurement of materials and subcontractor services in collaboration with purchasing teams.
  • Drive performance by mentoring field staff and ensuring adherence to productivity and quality benchmarks.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) managing electrical projects, ideally in commercial or multi-family settings
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and construction project management practices
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field ( preferred)
  • PMP certification or electrical contractor license is a plus


Working Environment:
  • Primarily field-based with regular office reporting
  • Travel between job sites as required
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high expectations for safety and performance.
