OverviewTuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a Real. Property Management Specialist II to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- This Position is in the Countermeasures Directorate (C), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Office of Security Technology (ST), Security Technology Operations (STO), Overseas Support Branch (OSB).
- This positionmayrequire extensive overseas and/or domestic travel.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of DS property to include the items used and installed by field offices.
- Proficient written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional working relationships with a wide variety of government and Prime Contractor staff.
- Proven ability to directly support overseas logistic positions.
- Proven ability to directly support overseas logisticians on the use of the Department of States system of record; Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), the SecureIntegrated Logistics Management system (S-ILMS), Mobile Asset advantage and as directed the use of core CMMS (IBM Maximo) and mobile CMMS.
- Assists in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP),Contractfile documents, Memorandums, and weekly logistics reports pertaining to the procurement handling, programing and inventory/accountability of all DS equipment deployed worldwide.
- Assist withannual inventory reconciliation of all geographic regions of ST property using theIntegrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), the Secure-Integrated Logistics Management system (S-ILMS), Mobile Asset advantage and as directed the use of core CMMS (IBM Maximo) and mobile CMMS.
Qualifications
- Have a basic understanding of all relevant Foreign Affairs Manual and Foreign Affairs Handbook (FAM/FAH) regulations regarding property management and be able to provide relevant assistance to DS field personnel.
- Minimum of an Associate degree in Business, or other related areas of study such as Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) certification; andThree yearsexperience in logistics management required.
- Proficient written/verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of an active Secret clearance.
