Position OverviewA prestigious institution in Hoboken, NJ is seeking an experienced
Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, and execution of capital construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will manage projects from inception through completion while ensuring quality, budget, schedule, and safety objectives are met. Experience working in a higher education, academic, or campus environment is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple construction and renovation projects across campus facilities.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and institutional standards.
- Oversee project execution, quality control, and contractor performance.
- Provide regular project status updates and manage project documentation.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 7+ years of construction project management experience, including capital improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, budgeting, and project controls.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Academic, university, healthcare, or institutional construction experience is a plus.
- PMP, CCM, PE, or related certifications are preferred
