Full Job Description
The Project Manager (PrM) is primarily responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned contracts and will serve as the single point of contact with the customer for both management and technical matters. The PrM will provide planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary to accomplish all work requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Programmatic/Technical/Business Development

  • Serves as technical and programmatic liaison to the Government with the authority to commit company resources as necessary to ensure efficient and timely program execution


  • Provide direct advisory support to the partner nation Ministry of Defense, armed forces, and COMSEC leadership on program requirements, compliance, and best practices.
  • Provide program-level reporting, risk assessments, and performance updates to U.S. stakeholders and partner nation leadership.


  • Organizes, plans, schedules, implements, controls, analyzes, and reports on all elements of a contract.
  • Presents and discusses the status of contract activities, requirements and problems during program reviews and in response to requests from the Government
  • Monitors and evaluates programs for quality and effectiveness; makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Accomplishment of all tasks under any resulting task orders.
  • Attends meetings for all active contracts as well as ones without current task orders.
  • Actively engages in business development activities to ensure long and short term growth.
  • Finds new leads and opportunities and performs capture activities to win new contracts.
  • Writes technical, management and past performance sections of proposals to support business development for government proposals.


Financial

  • Cost, scheduling, and performance of assigned contracts.
  • Estimates to complete burn rate analysis and projections, and the effect of salary and labor category increases on corporate profitability.

  • Actively engages in business development activities to ensure contract growth

  • Employee Timesheet monitoring and approval.
  • Reviews and approve invoices.
  • Reviews and approve expense reports.


People Management

  • Manages Project Managers and other employees at multiple locations; monitoring and evaluating employee performance and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions when necessary.

  • Develops, coaches, and properly assess performance of direct report employees.

  • Works closely with corporate recruiters in the sourcing and selection of candidates; acting as Hiring Manager

  • Meet all goals quarterly and annually as relates to profit.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree required, degree may be substituted for experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a project/program manager or equivalent.
  • Government contracting experience
  • Knowledge of FMS COMSEC

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to advise senior leaders (U.S. and foreign) and coordinate across diverse organizations.
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, and instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently


Desired Competencies:

  • Prior experience working with a partner nation Ministry of Defense or joint/coalition forces.
  • Familiarity with U.S. export control regulations (ITAR, EAR) and FMS program processes.
  • Background in military secure communications, or coalition operations and some knowledge with military avionics.


Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.
