Position Location: This role supports our San Antonio, TX branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater San Antonio, TX area.
The
Project Manager facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs. This role requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects considered small to medium in complexity with financial impact between $100K and $2.5M.
As a Project Manager, you will: - Have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps.
- Guide technical or administrative staff.
- Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement plan.
- Perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships.
- Be responsible for several small projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
- Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.
- Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
- Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
- Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
- Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
- Track resources and projects progress.
- Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
- Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
- Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.
- Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provides commissioning documentation.
- Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.
- Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
- Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements.
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions.
You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
- Associate degree
- Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry; 3+ years preferred
- 1+ years of experience managing projects
- NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred
- Knowledgeable of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
- 3+ years of technical experience in the , fire and life safety industry; 3+ years preferred

The pay range for this position is $68,830 - $117,994 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
