Full Job Description
Position Title: Project Manager / Estimator

This role combines the critical functions of estimating and project management within the construction industry. The Project Manager/Estimator will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. This position requires a deep understanding of the construction process, particularly in commercial projects. The ideal candidate will navigate the complexities of pre-construction and project management while ensuring that client expectations are met consistently. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects, fostering both professional growth and a collaborative work environment. The position is primarily onsite, emphasizing teamwork and effective communication.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 / Year DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the estimation process, including quoting and negotiating costs with clients
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, typically up to six at a time
  • Engage with clients and architects early in the design process
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and ensure quality delivery
  • Conduct site visits and manage job progress
  • Handle change orders and billing processes
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project execution

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of construction experience at a general contractor
  • Estimating and Project management experience
  • Commercial experience in relevant projects
  • Pre-construction experience with an understanding of the building process
  • Ability to foster good working relationships with subcontractors
  • Flexibility in work hours is preferred
