Full Job Description
JourneyTeam is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other Dynamics solutions within our PMO practice. We're looking for someone who brings a strong foundation in project management along with experience working in the Microsoft ecosystem, and who is passionate about driving successful implementations from start to finish.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping projects on track-coordinating internal and external teams, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring consistent communication across stakeholders. We're looking for someone who embodies JourneyTeam's values, takes ownership of outcomes, and brings a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to every engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end delivery of projects, including planning, execution, and successful go-live.
  • Translate business requirements into structured project plans, timelines, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Lead project ceremonies (kickoffs, sprint planning, status meetings, workshops) to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Manage scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines; proactively escalate issues and drive solutions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and visibility using tools such as Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, ensuring transparency on goals, progress, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business and technical delivery.
  • Apply and continuously improve hybrid project methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive, reliable communication and delivery excellence.

Qualifications:
  • 4-10 years of project management experience with increasing ownership and responsibility, ideally within consulting, technology delivery, or ERP implementation environments.
  • Experience delivering projects within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365) and/or working with ERP systems in an implementation, operational, or functional capacity.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional, client-facing projects, coordinating technical and functional teams to successfully deliver outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid), along with experience using tools such as Azure DevOps or Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects forward with a high level of ownership and accountability, consistently following through on commitments with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable direction and maintain alignment across stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience proactively identifying risks, challenges, and dependencies, and applying structured problem-solving to drive solutions and improve outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaboration across teams through open communication, shared accountability, and a focus on results.

First 30 Days
  • Build a strong understanding of JourneyTeam's project delivery methodology, tools, and expectations.
  • Shadow active projects and partner with experienced Project Managers to learn our implementation approach.
  • Begin building relationships with internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Start contributing to project coordination and communication.

First 60 Days
  • Take ownership of key project workstreams, supporting execution and communication across stakeholders.
  • Begin managing project plans, timelines, and deliverables with increasing independence.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve delivery.
  • Demonstrate strong alignment with JourneyTeam values through ownership, communication, and accountability.

First 90 Days
  • Independently manage project delivery, ensuring alignment across internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Consistently drive projects forward-maintaining momentum, clarity, and accountability across all participants.
  • Achieve a target utilization rate of 75%, reflecting successful integration into billable project work and delivery ownership.
  • Build trust with clients through proactive communication, reliability, and high-quality execution.


Compensation:

Base salary range of $75,000 - $110,000

This is the established pay range for a standard-level Project Manager role at JourneyTeam.
