Job Summary

Walgreens Enterprise Content (EC) practice plays a crucial role in streamlining processes for both internal and external teams, ensuring the seamless planning and execution of creative, events, asset delivery, cohesive messaging strategy and team organization. This role is key in supporting the strategic content decisions supporting Enterprise workflows cross-channel.

The Project Manager, Enterprise Content Operations will be dedicated to internal business units and serve as the central point of contact managing support of their project workflows, ensuring that all initiatives are executed efficiently and align with our brand standards

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversees and manages project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for various internal teams.
  • Develops comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, task assignment, and risk management.
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and transparency.
  • Oversees the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project goals and objectives.
  • Monitors project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving project needs and priorities.
  • Identifies and resolves project issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Serves as liaison with Legal, Clinical, and Privacy team reviews on behalf of your assigned business unit.
  • Ensures all project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the Enterprise Content practice.
  • Implements best practices and standardized workflows to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Conducts regular reviews and retrospectives to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for internal teams, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Facilitates effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Ensures all projects adhere to brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Conducts thorough reviews and quality checks at each stage of the project to maintain high standards.
  • Addresses and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Allocates resources effectively to ensure optimal project execution.
  • Monitors team workload and capacity, adjusting as needed to meet project demands.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

External Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree and at least 2 years of experience in Project Management OR High School/ GED and at least 4 years of experience in Project Management
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Workfront, Sprinklr, Asana, Trello, Monday, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
  • Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as marketing, communications, or business administration.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience, in creative production, event production, or a related industry.
  • Experience working within a similar fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.
  • Experience working with project/campaign budgets.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g. using Pivot tables, formula functions, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling) and PowerPoint (e.g. visually appealing and detailed presentation creation to demonstrate information for all levels of internal stakeholders.
