Job Description & Responsibilities

Persistent Systems is seeking a Project Manager for Enterprise Information Systems to join our growing team. As a Project Manager, you will be a critical member of the Program Management Office (PMO), supporting enterprise-wide initiatives across information systems integration, data management, security, and operational efficiencies. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and ensure effective delivery of enterprise system capabilities that support business objectives.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise information system project initiatives from concept through deployment, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and compliance requirements
  • Manage planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of system integration, data governance, and application enhancement projects
  • Demonstrates familiarity with ERP, CRM, and enterprise data platforms to ensure effective integration and alignment across organizational systems
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Operations, Product Management, and external vendors
  • Drive Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies based on program needs
  • Maintain project documentation including charters, schedules, risk registers, budgets, and communications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure solutions meet business and technical objectives
  • Support enterprise data architecture initiatives including data flow analysis, system mapping, and integration planning
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines and quality standards are maintained
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and leadership, providing reporting and updates on project progress
  • Support compliance, security, and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation processes as needed
Job Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or relatable technical discipline equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing enterprise systems or information technology projects
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and enterprise data platforms
  • Experience with system integration, data management, or enterprise architecture initiatives
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to obtain United States Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar certification
  • Master’s degree in information systems, engineering, or business administration (MBA)
  • Experience implementing project management processes in larger organizations
  • Experience with data governance frameworks or enterprise architecture methodologies
  • Experience in high-growth or highly technical environments
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data analytics tools for project and system reporting

 

The base pay for this role can vary from $102,000 to $133,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
