ECS is seeking an experienced
Cyber Infrastructure Project Manager to work
remotely providing infrastructure support for the work performed under this contract for
NIH NIAID Enabling and Advancing Technologies (NEAT). All other tasks are intended to facilitate the implementation and operation of Network and Cybersecurity. This engagement supports current and future technologies including evaluating, planning for, and implementing new technologies in the NIAID and NIH environment in response to changing business strategies, policy, and regulatory changes.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon [contract win].The Cyber Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, managing finances and burn rates for the team and augmenting staff as needed, and analyzing complex, multi-task interrelated projects, assessing risk and mitigating potential risks to project success.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects, and a significant segment of large and complex projects.
- Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.
- Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.
- Managing finances and burn rates for the team and augmenting staff as needed.
- Analyze complex, multi-task interrelated projects, assess risk and mitigate potential risk to project success.
- Prepare and present HHS Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) stage gate deliverables and presentations to review boards.
- Minimum 8 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, including support teams and ensuring quality of service operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security or related field.
- Active Public Trust or higher security clearance.
- Strong supervisory skills in managing system configuration and operation.
- Experience working with network hardware and operating systems.
- Applicable certifications including PMP (Project Management Professional) and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
- Reside within the Washington DC Metro area.
- Travel within the Washington DC Metro Area, and CONUS as needed.
