Responsibilities

  • Participate in developing a Project Chart of Accounts with the Project Director and Estimating team
  • Create detailed Project Contract status reports
  • Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to develop a project site logistics plan
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of McCarthy/Owner contract obligations
  • Oversee the pay request process efficiently
  • Monitor project costs through Job Cost Reports and adjust as necessary
  • Analyze and forecast quarterly Total Cost Projection reports
  • Implement training programs for all staff personnel
  • Manage project labor effectively
  • Review and approve material, forming system, and equipment requisitions
  • Assist Estimating with project bidding processes
  • Lead the quality assurance process on projects
  • Guide project close-out processes and schedules
  • Foster effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and owners that represent McCarthy’s core values

Full Job Description
The Self-Perform Drywall Project Manager is the primary leader at the jobsite, and is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site. The Project Manager will lead the Drywall Self-Perform team throughout construction. This position is responsible to build and maintain a strong relationship with the subcontractors, owner, architect and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate with Project Director and Estimating in development of a Project Chart of Accounts

  • Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
  • Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving, motivational skills.

For California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $140,000 - $170,000. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
