  • Develop and maintain technical consumption models (cost-per-API, cost-per-feature, cost-per-tenant, workload heat mapping) to guide architecture and product decisions.

  • Use engineering techniques (right-sizing, autoscaling policies, storage tiering, reserved/spot capacity planning) to optimize cloud performance and cost.

  • Analyze system architecture to identify inefficiencies and propose redesigns that improve reliability, scalability, and margin.

Technical Planning & Execution

  • Build operational plans integrating architectural constraints, cloud resource requirements, performance metrics, and cost budgets.

  • Monitor cloud and SaaS consumption through engineering telemetry tools; detect anomalies and lead root cause analysis with SRE/Platform teams.

  • Implement automation (IaC, CI/CD insights, serverless triggers, AI-driven anomaly detection) to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy of forecasting.

Resource Engineering & Vendor Technology Coordination

  • Identify and secure technical resources (compute, storage, networking, ML infrastructure) required to run digital workloads reliably and efficiently.
