Full Job Description
What you’ll be doing...

The project manager under Decom & Access Migrations will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the strategies and programs targeted to improve the customer experience and simplify Verizon’s wireline service delivery. Our team aims to improve our long-term wireline cost structure by leveraging the best network, simplifying product sets, streamlining service options, and retiring outdated assets. The project manager is responsible for migrations of services that are being withdrawn and will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the program plan that allows for efficient customer migrations. Additionally, the project manager will lead proactive customer outreach and presents opportunities to clients, both internal and external.

  • Working with or within the Consumer Mass Business, Verizon Partner Solutions, and or Verizon Enterprise Solutions organization or related customers / partners.

  • Working with our customers, partners, and across lines of business to solve complex issues deriving from customer migrations.

  • Analyzing information to determine the best course of action that is in compliance with company and legal standards.

  • Sharing knowledge and experience to enhance the technical and analytical capabilities of the PMO teams.

  • Tracking migrations 30/60/90 days to help identify key milestones critical to the overall program goals.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Possess a strong understanding of the Verizon internal and external network, both legacy and next generation equipment, services, and systems.

  • Project management experience and strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with Google enterprise (Sheets, Slides, Gemini, etc.)


Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Familiarity with Frontier products, services and systems

  • Experience with VzT ILEC legacy systems  (SOP, OPTIX, FACS etc.)

  • Experience on VzT ILEC products especially POTs, ISDN BRI, Analog and Digital Centrex

  • Direct customer contact and engagement across all levels, consumer, small, medium and enterprise

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $78,000.00 - $150,000.00.

The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $86,000.00 - $150,000.00.
