Your Role

The Nexus Platform team is looking for a Project Manager to provide oversight and planning for various size initiatives that require development and delivery from the Platform. The Project Manager, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager. In this role you will provide project management for the work that impacts the Nexus Platform. This may be enterprise strategic initiatives driven by the Platform team or it may be complex operational implementations with multiple cross functional dependencies. This role will be supporting the Product Managers on the delivery of the initiatives by supporting planning, budgeting, scheduling, and assisting with dependencies and escalations.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • Plan and manage medium to large sized projects that impact the Nexus Platform, which is an internal operational Platform used across the Enterprise.
  • Manage projects that either directly impact or are driven by the Nexus Platform, as well as enterprise-wide initiatives that affect the platform and require project management, coordination, and collaboration across the platform team and key stakeholders
  • Ensure strategic direction of projects is in line and designs strategies for alignment with Company and business unit goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate proven ability to determine key business and technical issues, develop effective action plans and implement to successful conclusion
  • Manage the design, development and/or implementation of new or enhanced systems projects or programs
  • Manage the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of the project
  • Maintain project plans and schedules
  • Escalate risk and mitigation strategies
  • Work with cross functional teams to assist in delivery and execution
  • Work closely with the Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Developers for the Nexus Platform
  • Coordinate with Change Management team members on roll out strategies, communication, training, and delivery
  • Assist with executive report outs and communications
  • Work in JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, and Microsoft Tools
  • Leverage your understanding and experience in Scrum Agile Software Development Lifecycle for planning and delivery

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience


Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
