About this role
The Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking an eager, capable, and skilled Project Manager to support New Product Development across multiple projects, simultaneously. A prime candidate for this dynamic and high paced environment would be a self-starter with a positive attitude, a problem solver, someone who is proactive and is customer service oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing multiple hardware, firmware, software and/or digital NPI projects.
- Understanding, complying, and enforcing policies and procedures as outlined in the Stage Gate New Product Development Process.
- Creating and managing project plans and reporting dashboards.
- Managing resource budgets, project scope, on time project delivery KPI and product quality.
- Leading and coordinating the actions of project teams to produce deliverables agreed upon with executive and/or functional management.
- Leading regular project team meetings, working with internal and external resources.
- Reporting project status regular per defined at multiple levels.
- Issue and risk management/mitigation.
- Escalations management.
- Create and apply practices and processes to develop new products and/or services for the Company.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of Project Management experience
Or
- High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree in engineering, business, or related subject.
- Competencies in: Microsoft Office, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Experience in manufacturing environments, including conditions & constraints related to producing new products.
- Experience in R&D Hardware & Software Engineering environments, including conditions & constraints related to producing new products.
- Experience with sprint preparedness activities.
- Managing technical cross-functional teams including stakeholders such as HW Engineering, SW/FW Engineering, Production Test, IT, QA, Test & Integration and more.
- Solid technical understanding and ability to assist defining and refining requirements through a project lifecycle.
- PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.
- Familiarity with Carrier and Automated Logic products.
- Familiarity with building automation, climate & energy solutions.
Location Consideration: While local candidates for the Kennesaw, GA office are strongly preferred, consideration will also be given to candidates based near other active Carrier U.S. locations who can commit to full-time onsite work.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
