We are looking for a Project Manager to manage one or more moderately complex projects while planning and performing analysis of company functions, processes, and activities. This position will be a contract and remote.
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
What You’ll Do
Manage multiple moderately complex projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful delivery
Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders, managing timelines, dependencies, and execution across initiatives
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and community sessions to drive engagement across technical and business audiences
Provide clear and consistent communication, including executive updates and stakeholder reporting
Oversee project risks, issues, and change management efforts to ensure smooth delivery
Partner closely with AI development teams (including offshore teams) to support project execution
Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and digital transformation initiatives
Ensure alignment between business objectives and AI capabilities such as prompt engineering, model development, and data pipelines
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and enhance project delivery
What You'll Need
Required:
5–8+ years of experience in project management, AI/ML, or software development environments
Strong program and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive execution
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience leading discussions across technical and business stakeholders
Proven experience managing complex initiatives with multiple workstreams, dependencies, and risks
Understanding of AI/ML concepts, including generative AI and LLM-based solutions
Experience collaborating with distributed/global teams
Ability to manage change and drive adoption in evolving environments
Preferred:
Experience working directly with AI development teams and a strong understanding of prompt engineering, generative AI and large language models, data handling and preparation (both structured and unstructured), API integration with enterprise systems, model evaluation and optimization, and responsible AI practices including privacy, security, and ethical usage
Passion for innovation and continuous learning, particularly in AI and digital transformation
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$80-$85 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
