Qualifications

• 5+ years Project Management experience in heavy highway or heavy civil construction with project values of $10 million to $100 million.
• Experience managing DOT transportation projects is essential.
• Deep understanding of roadway construction, grading, drainage, asphalt paving, concrete, bridges, utilities, and traffic control.
• Proven track record in managing project financials, schedules, and balancing multiple priorities.
• Familiar with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent field experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, with OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of heavy highway construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, forecasting, and cost control for projects.
• Lead project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate with GDOT representatives, owners, consultants, and inspectors.
• Review and validate construction plans, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to guarantee timely delivery.
• Identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
