JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Project Manager
Team: Project Management Office
Reports to: Manager, Project Management Office
Job Level: 7

I. JOB PURPOSE
Manage and deliver a variety of projects across Businesses and/or Technologies from project initiation to implementation and ensures adherence to established project management methodologies and tools at CNO.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end-to-end project management and ensures adherence to quality standards and best practices in system integration, deployment and testing processes.
• Serves as a consultative partner with project sponsor, business users, Technology, and vendor to develop project plans that include scope, deliverables, goals, resource needs, dependencies, responsibilities, and timelines; contribute to the development of project business cases, analysis, justification, and budgeting.
• Manage all project components including resource planning, task allocation and coordination, documentation requirements, progress monitoring and reporting throughout the project lifecycle, budget management and variance reporting, communication between technical teams and system partners, risks identification and mitigation.
• Develop and manage relationships with:
• CNO business & technology areas to promote understanding of the project goals and objectives and their required contribution and timelines to achieve project goals.
• External vendors ensuring that the project scope and deliverables are aligned with CNO goals and objectives.
• Lead change management efforts, including user training, documentation, and post-deployment support to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.
• Analyze project outcomes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement lessons learned in future projects.

III. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Certificate in Project Management.
• A progressive project management career, with at least 7 years of experience, including 5 years in leadership.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in system integration and deployment projects, preferably in business-technology-driven environment.
• Experience with using a variety of project management tools to track and manage all aspects of a project.

• Familiarity with a variety of technology platforms, Waterfall, Hybrid & Agile methodologies and adapting them to specific projects; understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) phases, especially testing and deployment.
• Good understanding of the information technology associated with software, hardware, databases, data management, web applications, networks, and security.
• Knowledge of deployment strategies like continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps.
• Understanding of system architecture, software development life cycle (SDLC) phases, especially testing and deployment and integration methodologies.
