Responsibilities: The Project Manager will support Barrow Wise's NYC Department of Social Services project and perform the following duties:
- Develop comprehensive project management plans
- Lead the planning and implementation of the project
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide management reporting and information dissemination
- Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
- Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to specifications
- Provide project quality assurance
- Develop quality assurance metrics to measure outputs.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Ensure all project changes meet the developed quality assurance metrics before it is released to the user community.
- Work on-site in NYC
An ideal candidate has the following:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
- 4 Years of experience in overseeing large-scale, complex projects comprised of several deliverables and/or several phases
- 4 Years of experience acting as an Issuing Entity regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements, and scope changes
- 4 Years of experience with timeline management, ensuring the tasks are performed as per the scheduled date on the project plan
- 4 Years of experience in Business Analysis and Project Management Techniques, SCRUM and Agile Development Methodologies and Sprint Delivery
