Responsibilities

Full Job Description

What You Will Do:
  • As a Project Leader in the IT Enablement and Strategy team, you will partner with the IT Portfolio Leaders for Finance, Legal, and Human Resources to develop strategies, capture demands, publish roadmaps, and ensure the successful execution of the IT enablement projects in these portfolios.
  • Balance direct leadership for more strategic / higher risk projects with indirect leadership, such as coaching, for more tactical / lower risk projects to ensure the successful execution of all projects.
  • Lead and coordinate IT projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, quality, and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across business functions, application portfolios, modern development, AI and data, cloud, IT operations, IT security, and 3rd party vendors, to drive execution and alignment on project goals.
  • Manage project plans, milestones, schedules, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
  • Facilitate project onboarding and offboarding, regular project meetings, status updates, change management, and communication to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Support root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and improve project delivery outcomes.
  • Track progress, manage scope, document decisions, and maintain accurate project artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality expectations and business priorities.


What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus minimum 6 years of relevant experience; 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience leading IT projects and/or coordinating complex technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment using AI and modern IT project management techniques such as iterations, agile-at-scale, and/or forward-deployed engineering.
  • Experience leading IT projects supporting Finance, Legal, and/or Human Resources functions.
  • Consultative mindset with strong advisory and problem-solving skills, grounded in a commitment to customer success.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and issue resolution.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and dependencies simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain project documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently while driving collaboration and accountability across teams.


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, and/or Agile credentials such as SAFe.
  • Familiarity with modern portfolio, program, and project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience supporting process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale IT programs or transformation projects.


The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
