Salary Range: $90K-100K annually

As our next Automation Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of managing automation and assembly projects from concept through implementation. Your expertise in project management, automation systems, and manufacturing engineering will be critical in ensuring successful project execution, customer satisfaction, and the continuous advancement of automated manufacturing solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:• Develop, coordinate, and manage project timelines, resource plans, and project deliverables
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, project teams, and leadership
• Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, and task plans using project management tools
• Monitor project performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved
• Support multidisciplinary equipment design and development initiatives
• Lead implementation of new and modified production equipment and automation systems
• Manage project issues, risks, and action plans throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and manage Statements of Requirements (SOR) aligned with customer expectations
• Create and maintain quality checklists to verify equipment readiness prior to shipment
• Provide regular project status updates on budgets, timelines, and key deliverables to management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance project execution
• Develop and maintain standardized project management templates and best practices
• Support compliance with quality, safety, and environmental management systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Experience managing engineering, automation, or manufacturing projects
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and assembly processes
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
• Understanding of multidisciplinary engineering environments
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of manufacturing systems
• Knowledge of FMEA and quality management systems
• Understanding of automotive quality requirements, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Experience managing automation equipment builds and machine integration projects
• Experience with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project
• Experience in automotive manufacturing environments
• PMP or other project management certification
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
