Full Job Description
Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Washington DC.

Responsibilities:
  • At least two years of experience managing federal contracts involving a federal government website;
  • At least four years of project management experience coordinating the project work of a technical team;
  • Direct project management experience with products using AWS cloud infrastructures and website hosting;
  • Mastery of Agile Scrum development procedures and best practices;
  • At least a working understanding of Atlassian Jira or a similar agile project management tool. Here, knowledge of Microsoft Project alone is not sufficient;
  • Availability and ability to manage the work and lead the meetings

Education and Certification:
  • A certification in agile project management is highly desired, but not required;
  • A certification in a cloud infrastructure topic is highly desired, but not required;
  • An undergraduate college degree or equivalent work experience;

Experience:
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage Contractor team while collaborating with Board or other technical development teams (contracted or in-house);
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with COR and other vendors or stakeholders;
  • A collaborative, congenial, responsive, and helpful nature.
