Project Manager, Program Management Office-Farmington, CT (Hybrid)(This position requires the candidate to work 3 days in the office and 2 days in a remote location)Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Job Summary:The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams using a structured process across multiple locations and business units to deliver success on a variety of projects. Project activities may include new product development, product and process improvements, and other key business initiatives.
What You Will Do:- Leads cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Design, Test, Sourcing, Operations and/or other functions to plan and execute projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, quality and other key business metrics.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and document product/project requirements, scope, schedule, budget and other project metrics.
- Continuously tracks project activities, risks and mitigation, and issues resolution to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget while meeting internal and/or external customer requirements.
- Coordinates and facilitates effective communication among team members, stakeholders and leadership
- Schedules and leads timely status review meetings and formal project reviews.
- Works directly with the team when needed to drive issues to closure and appropriately escalate issues and recommendations to upper management.
- Effectively manages team dynamics and resolves conflicts to maintain team performance
- May work with other project managers on interdependencies with other simultaneous projects.
- Utilizes the Allegion Product Development Process and other defined business processes in the execution of project activities.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
What You Need to Succeed: - Experience executing projects and initiatives from concept to implementation using a structured process.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and techniques, with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Tenacity in coordination of project teams to achieve project timelines and outcomes.
- Self-starter with a desire to make a significant impact on the project execution.
- Proactively identifies project risks and confidently escalates issues and mitigation strategies to leadership.
- Good understanding of consumer products development, manufacturing and/or supply chain preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including project management software.
EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Computer Science).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in business initiatives.
- Experience with new product development and/or support preferred.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
- The expected Base Salary Range: $74,900 to $110,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
