About the Role:As a Project Management Sr. Analyst Capacity Planning, you be responsible for managing the lifecycle of a machine rack order from inception to decommissioning, building systems to improve current processes, and manage in-flight dynamics and performance dashboards.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.
What You'll Do:- Project manage the successful landing/location assignments of machine racks in Data Center software planning tools within agreed upon service level objectives.
- Calculate sufficient space, power, cooling, fiber optic cabling and networking in order to successfully deploy machine rack hardware into Data Center environments utilizing capacity management software tools.
- Analyze, project manage and problem solve with attention to technical detail, dependencies and issues with respect to networking, Data Center power and electrical domains, fiber optic cabling.
- Manage the end to end lifecycle of server deployments (placement of new machine server racks, rack moves, decoms)
- Manage cross-functional or cross team projects.
- Perform acceptance testing of new capacity management software tools.
- Recognize process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Escalate to senior team members as needed for advanced issues.
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, familiarity with fiber optic cable specifications.
- Some familiarity with computer hardware and the physical layer of computer networking (not required to be a deep expert).
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to implement ideas in a changing environment.
- Self-starter who brings creativity, sincerity and passion to their work.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in data center planning, constraint enforcement, and supply chain management.
- Experience with network hardware and data-center infrastructure, including liquid cooling and mechanical/electrical supporting systems.
- Experience managing machine learning infrastructure deployments.
- Experience with physical planning and deployment of machine rack hardware.
- Able to work collaboratively, open to new ideas and experiences.
- Able to navigate ambiguity and make corrections in complex situations.
- Experience working autonomously and prioritizing multiple competing priorities.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $105,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
