Description:

Technical/Functional Expert (Network) to provide advanced network engineering support across enterprise environments. This role focuses on system-level design, security architecture, and performance optimization within complex, multi-site infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network architecture and security, supporting large-scale datacenter environments and ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced network engineering support, including system-level design and architecture
  • Design and implement secure network architectures and enterprise security boundaries
  • Support datacenter virtualization and large-scale CAN/MAN/LAN environments
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Implement and manage IPSEC VPNs and secure communication channels
  • Analyze network traffic using packet capture tools for troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide expert-level support for network infrastructure issues
  • Develop system diagrams and present technical solutions to stakeholders
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance network operations


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • Five (5) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering, including LAN architecture, monitoring, security, and protection
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC VPNs


Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
  • Certification Requirements:
    • DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
