Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Project Management Analyst who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a "can do" attitude. This role will focus on supporting the program management team with financials, travel requests, contract modifications, and other operational tasks that will support the overall program execution.

This position will support operations at a company site located in Arlington, VA. You will be expected to be onsite 5 days per week.

The compensation for this role will be established in accordance with the candidate's experience, relevant skills, and alignment with internal pay structures.

Level 1 - $55,967 to $79,953

Level 2 - $69,885 - $99,836

Level 3 - $89,602 - $128,002

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the operational activities of ongoing projects, serving as a key liaison between project management, planning teams, project staff, and line leadership.
  • Monitor project performance, including budget status and financial checkpoints; maintain project schedules and prepare clear, accurate status reports for stakeholders.
  • Support contract modification processes by coordinating documentation, tracking changes, and ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Create and implement tools, processes, and mechanisms for tracking project progress, enabling proactive intervention and efficient problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.


Minimum Qualifications

LEVEL 1 - 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.

LEVEL 2 - 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.

LEVEL 3 - 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

  • Experience with project coordination including overseeing operational aspects of ongoing projects.
  • Budget and schedule tracking, and preparing status reports.
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Excel.
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the abilty to collaborate with all levels of personnel
  • Clearance: Must have an active Secret security clearance.


Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of federal project reporting standards and compliance expectations.
  • Clearance: Top secret security clearance.


Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
