Full Job Description

Principal Purpose of Position

  • Lead QA delivery across Salesforce and Information Management — overseeing a mid-size QA organization embedded across multiple agile teams.
  • This role is responsible for driving quality strategy, accelerating automation adoption, and establishing data quality practices in alignment with the enterprise transformation roadmap.

Platform & Delivery Leadership

  • Own QA delivery and automation strategy across multiple platform teams — ensuring planned scope is testable within sprint timelines, test cases are created and assigned, regression suites are identified and maintained, and team capacity is actively managed.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to adjust schedules or scope when needed and escalate or resolve release blockers.

Quality Strategy & Automation

  • Drive adoption of modern test automation tooling and frameworks to reduce reliance on manual execution and scale regression coverage.
  • Establish data quality testing practices for lower environments and expand coverage for API, file extract, and Data Lake validation.
  • Define and own platform-level quality metrics; recommend and implement process improvements across the delivery lifecycle.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and develop QA team members across platforms.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, support individual development plans, and perform performance reviews.
  • Provide QA thought leadership and mentorship on agile delivery, automation, and AI adoption.
  • Foster open communication between QA analysts, engineering, and product stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary QA point of contact.
  • Communicate quality status, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and business audiences.

Education and/or Training

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of IT/QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity
  • QA certification preferred (ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models required

Relevant Work Experience

  • 6+ years in IT QA or software development environments; supervisory experience required
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform testing — Sales Cloud or Service Cloud workflows preferred
  • Experience with data quality testing — API, file extract, or data pipeline validation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead automation adoption across multiple teams
  • Familiarity with modern test automation tools (Playwright, Karate, AccelQ, dbt or equivalent)
  • Experience working across platforms with distinct technology stacks and operating models
  • Experience with agentic AI workflow is a plus
