Full Job Description
We are seeking a Project Leader 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation and/or sustainment of electronic security systems at multiple facilities throughout the United States.
  • Establish and implement procedures and controls to ensure that security installation projects are completed on time and within budget and that SLAs are met for sustainment programs.
  • Manage project site or regional sustainment managers and supervisors.
  • Interface with customer personnel and respond to their issues and concerns.
  • Manage subcontractors and oversee their performance.
  • Perform site security surveys and conduct design reviews.
  • Prepare installation, technology refresh, or repair/restoration proposals and schedules.
  • Oversee warranty service for completed installations and repairs.
  • Prepare status reports and briefings.
  • Identify change orders and ensure effective resolution.
  • Price, track, and manage change orders.
  • Plan and monitor cash flow against cash expenses.
  • Maintain as-builts as work is completed.
  • Document project issues/conditions.
  • Plan and execute project completion and punch list.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
  • Research and compile submittals; pricing change orders and prepare estimates for partially designed projects by finishing the design and preparing a complete project estimate.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, construction, and sustainment problems.
  • Communicate with people outside the Company, representing the Company to customers, the public, the government, and general contractor representatives

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
  • A minimum of fifteen years of experience in the design, installation, integration, testing and sustainment of electronic security systems. Within this timeframe, at least five years of experience managing installation and/or sustainment projects on nationwide or global federal government, industrial or commercial hyperscaler contract.
  • 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, (BS) 7+ years of experience with a MS/MA, Experience working on electronic security projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M+.
  • Experience working with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
  • Experience using sophisticated Project Management, CPM Scheduling, Cost and AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints and drawings on electronic security projects.
  • Deep expertise in electronic security systems from multiple manufactures and generations (versions) of their systems.
  • Familiar with standard deliverables and work process on projects.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and writing skills and be a problem owner/solver.
  • Proven ability to effectively plan and organize one's own activities or the activities of others.
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills
  • Experience with scheduling (MS Project) a plus
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency

Pay Range

USD $165,120.00 - USD $206,400.00 /Yr.
