Job Description:The Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Sustainment and Modernization (SAM) program builds on a 20+ year legacy program for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to provide full system and software lifecycle support (analysis, design, implementation, test) to 20+ web and database applications that support the military and government medical supply chain.The program aims to modernize and enhance its software posture towards agile and DevOps practices that will better support critical mission functions: e-commerce order execution, catalog services, packaging and pricing management, business intelligence, customer trading partner relations, and data quality.This is a hybrid role that will require regular on-site support at our Northeast Philadelphia facility.Meaningful work that makes an impact: - Serves as a Project Lead and recognized subject matter expert on assigned applications, providing functional and business process expertise.
- Leads the daily activities of the technical team, including .NET developers, database developers, analysts, and QA staff, supporting web-based application development.
- Acts as the primary liaison to the client Program Management Office (PMO). Provides weekly project status updates, level-of-effort assessments for new requirements, and drives execution of the PMO-approved development schedule.
- Coordinates with other Project Leads on releases requiring synchronized deployment to deliver integrated business capabilities.
- Partners with business stakeholders, customer leadership, and operational teams to elicit and define functional requirements. Facilitates Joint Application Development sessions and develops strong understanding of business processes and supporting data.
- Analyzes existing or proposed systems and designs complex solutions to deliver required business functionality.
- Supports the creation of logical data models based on functional specifications.
- Develops and delivers technical and functional presentations to a variety of audiences, including all SDLC milestone and gate reviews.
- Performs advanced project and program data analysis using SQL and identifies, analyzes, and resolves system issues.
- Oversees the completion of all required project deliverables.
- Manages projects through the full Application Development Lifecycle and all associated management reviews.

Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project Lead - Senor Principal Systems Analyst must have:Education: Bachelor's Degree. An additional 4 years of experience mat be substituted in lieu of degree.Clearance: US citizenship with the ability to obtain a NACLC clearance.Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience.Technical Skills:- Proven leadership skills and client-facing experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading the development of web-based applications.
- Strong experience performing complex analysis using SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Database, TOAD, .NET MVC, Angular, and Azure DevOps Server 2022.
- Ability to work onsite at the client facility in Northeast Philadelphia each Wednesday; onsite requirement may increase at the government's discretion.
The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
