Full Job Description

As project lead, you support the project sponsor and oversee a work team involved in cross-sector projects and initiatives to ensure objectives are met. You participate in all the different project phases, from design to rollout. You organize, manage and control the human, material, financial and IT resources needed to deliver very large-scale, innovative projects involving multiple sectors. You draw on your drive for results and ability to engage others to effectively manage teams and help the organization achieve its objectives. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your field of expertise.
You are responsible for strategic projects that are very organizationally and conceptually complex and require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in many other fields.You lead, influence and serve as expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies. You represent and act on behalf of the organization, and you help negotiate agreements with external providers. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Work on deliverables with contribution managers, ensuring business objectives are met, benefits are delivered, and budgets and timelines are respected
  • Ensure that the material, human and financial resources needed to meet the target business objectives are available
  • Manage, monitor and communicate the roadmap and budget, and define and promote governance
  • Identify and handle project issues and risks
  • Prepare reports and status updates for the project sponsor and other decision-making bodies, and help manage internal and external suppliers
