ICF is seeking an individual with strong program management, team building, and consulting experience, with past work supporting the energy sector to provide advisory and technical support onsite at the Department of Energy (DOE). This individual will interface with Federal agencies, industry, and the national labs to further develop and support cyber preparedness, policy, threat analysis, and governance efforts. The ideal candidate will hold an active high-level security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily management of high-performing technical team members
- Provide key advice and technical support across several cyber policy and preparedness programs for the energy sector
- Application of industry perspective and knowledge to help advance public-private partnerships to enhance security and resilience
- Work closely with government clients in collaboration with the interagency, industry, national laboratories, and other partners
- Identify potential issues and present suggested resolutions to clients
- Prepare and present briefings and reports as requested
- Work effectively with other parts of the DOE organization, other agencies, and the ICF team to accomplish tasks
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree
- Active High Level clearance
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 5 years supporting the energy sector, working on a mix of:
- Energy infrastructure security issues in an all-hazards environment
- Cybersecurity
- Operational issues
- Public-private partnerships
- Industrial control systems
Preferred Skills/Experience:- 20+ years of experience
- Master's degree in relevant field
- Prior Federal experience
- Consulting experience on government contracts
- History of managing high-performing teams with proven results
- Understanding of operational technology vulnerabilities and cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and practices
- Experience working on teams achieving shared goals and policy objectives
- Prior work supporting DOE
- Strong project management experience and skills
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated research skills
- Ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously, organize tasks, and effectively prioritize work
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$143,756.00 - $244,385.00
