Full Job Description
Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Project Environmental Scientist for its Indianapolis, Indiana Industrial Hygiene (IH) team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced IH specialist with extensive knowledge of chemical exposure assessments, noise surveys, asbestos, lead-paint, hazardous materials, indoor air quality/mold consulting, and compliance tasks.

Responsibilities include performing fieldwork, preparing project reports, reviewing documentation with stakeholders, and mentoring junior Arcadis staff. Indiana asbestos licensing is required, and job-specific training is available.

This role offers collaboration on diverse projects, opportunities for professional growth, and requires overnight travel and a valid driver's license.

Role accountabilities:

As a member of the IH Community of Practice, you will collaborate with junior staff, senior technical experts, and project managers in multidisciplinary environmental teams. Primary duties include the following.
  • Communicate with agencies, management, staff, and subcontractors to define scope and schedule for projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $79,920 - $119,880. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
