Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field and a minimum of 7 years' related experience.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• Certification in field of expertise required.
• Ability to obtain registration as a Professional Geologist (PG) required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects; participate in pre-task planning.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of work for medium scope projects.
• Devise new approaches to problems encountered during projects.
• Serve as a team leader for medium projects and mentor junior Geologists.
• Perform scientific analyses on projects within own discipline.
• Direct and supervise field staff in site sampling, testing, and data collection.
• Develop written proposals for clients, ensuring quality control on peer proposals.
• Evaluate complex laboratory and field data and compile reports.
