Full Job Description
The Project Engineering Manager leads the Project Engineering function at the Marietta site, responsible for execution of the capital program and development of engineering resources to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. Ensures projects are aligned with business objectives and delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Serves as a key member of the Site Leadership Team. We count on you for: • Lead and manage a team of project engineers and contract resources supporting the site capital program. • Execute and oversee the site capital plan (~$10-20MM annually), ensuring alignment with business and operational priorities. • Deliver capital projects through all phases (FEL, design, construction, commissioning) safely, on schedule, and within budget. • Develop project scope, cost estimates, schedules, and justifications. • Manage contractors, engineering firms, and construction resources, including scope development and contract administration. • Ensure compliance with all HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and site policies; support PHA/MOC processes. • Partner with operations and maintenance to support reliability, capacity, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Monitor and control departmental budgets and project expenditures. • Drive standardization and continuous improvement in capital project execution. • Maintain effective working relationships in a union environment and ensure alignment with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for team members. You will bring: • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline required • 10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing or industrial environment • Proven experience managing capital projects and/or capital programs • Demonstrated leadership of engineering or project teams • Experience with project execution processes (FEL through startup) • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred • Strong project management and capital execution experience • Knowledge of process operations and plant systems • Familiarity with OSHA, environmental, and regulatory requirements • Experience managing contractors and construction activities • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel) You will get: • Competitive salary and benefits package • The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $140,000-$170,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, such as skills, experience, qualifications, etc. and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives. • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations • Training platform for all employees • Free well-being sessions (physical and psychological)
