Job DescriptionOverviewProject Engineering Coordinator will report to the Cernavoda Unit 1 & Qinshan Tooling Project Manager and will be responsible for supporting refurbishment tooling design, manufacturing, testing and delivery. In the role of Project Engineering Coordinator, you will support the Tooling Project Manager by coordinating engineering and tooling activities, tracking technical deliverables, maintaining schedules, and facilitating communication across engineering disciplines and project stakeholders. This role will require continuous communication with members of the team as well as the client, and will be responsible for identifying, planning, coordinating, and supporting the implementation of various scopes of work.
Yourrole- Coordinates with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, vendors, and Refurbishment teams & vendors to ensure all activities are progressing as per project schedule.
- Coordinates progress meetings, status updates and other planning and execution workshops as needed.
- Working closely with the Project Manager to support project cost forecasting, progress tracking, and performance metrics.
- Coordinating closely with quality assurance to ensure quality requirements of the project are met.
- Liaise with key stakeholders as required generally including engineering, quality, procurement and tooling vendors.
- Maintain a positive relationship with client project counterparts.
- Provides status and progress reports in support of the Project Manager.
- Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.
- Coordinate with Procurement to track purchase orders, expedite vendor documentation, and monitor status for accurate month-end reporting, ensuring delays or issues are communicated promptly to the Project Manager.
About you- Experience supporting various type of projects including manufacturing considered an asset.
- Proficiency in project management tools with a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure consistent follow-through on assigned actions.
- An appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry considered an asset.

Work Location(S):
- The project team are located at Candu's head office in Mississauga.
