Full Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Engineer with a technical background in the energy sector, oil, & gas (upstream, midstream and downstream) and other industrial processing facilities to join our dynamic team. The Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting and overseeing multi-disciplinary projects., ensuring the efficient execution of schedules, budgets and resources. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to coordinate activities, manage resources, and resolve technical challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining project schedules and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Support the Project Manager in managing complex multi-disciplinary projects. Develop, monitor and update project schedules ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Design & Documentation Review: Review project designs and technical drawings, ensuring they comply with specifications, codes, and standards. Ensure that all design changes and revisions are documented and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Procurement Support: Support the procurement team by evaluating technical aspects of material and equipment requirements, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Assist in tracking project budgets and schedules, ensuring adherence to established timelines and cost constraints. Identify potential issues early and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns promptly. Prepare and submit technical reports as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial).
  • A minimum of 3-10 years of experience as a project engineer in the industrial construction sector.
  • Experience with project control, scheduling, and resource planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project or P6)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities, with a demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues

Work Environment:

This position is a combination of office-based.

Reporting Structure:

The Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager and works closely with other engineers, construction teams, and project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This position may involve direct supervision of field staff or subcontractors.
