Full Job Description
Deputy Logistics Project Manager (LPM)

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) budgetary estimates, formal Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and related Subcontractor Statements of Work (SOWs) for new and continuing efforts.
  • Serve as a liaison with Global Sustainment (GS) Center of Excellence (COE) functional leads and subcontractors to collect, evaluate, and integrate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) project and product execution status.
  • Assist in identifying, collecting, and evaluating engineering, program, and vendor source data required to support ILS product development, including coordinating efforts to resolve data gaps and shortfalls.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables and other ILS products and services.
  • Monitor adherence to GS and program processes and procedures for product development and service execution.
  • Collect and analyze program metrics and prepare progress reports, leadership briefings, and inputs for formal program reviews related to GS activities.
  • Perform Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities in support of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Serve as a liaison between Global Sustainment, external customers, subcontractors, and Lockheed Martin program management to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and support successful program execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet program commitments.
  • Experience or working knowledge in one or more Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Sustainment domains, including:
    • ILS product development, such as training, technical publications, provisioning, and related products.
    • ILS requirements analysis and definition.
    • Management of ILS product interdependencies.
    • ILS-related tools, processes, and technologies.
    • Sustainment services, including maintenance and modernization, repair depot operations, calibration labs, performance-based logistics (PBL), and obsolescence management.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers, with the ability to communicate effectively and build productive working relationships, in support of quickly changing priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to support infrequent domestic and international travel.


Desired Skills

  • Previous experience participating on an Integrated Product Team (IPT) or other cross-functional team.
  • Experience working within a Global Sustainment (GS) Center of Excellence (COE) or Program Integration organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory and stock levels, identify assets for scrap disposition, and utilize priority modeling for cannibalization and testing of reclamation assets.
  • Experience managing projects with responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Experience with ADIS (Automated Depot Information System).
  • Experience with managing hardware from the CASS, RT-CASS, and eCASS systems.
  • Knowledge of the Naval supply system (CAV-RP).
  • Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM) or equivalent experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Control Account Management.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, or evaluating cost proposals, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Experience with Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS), resource planning, and execution tracking.
  • Experience with risk management, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of Export Control processes, requirements, and guidelines.
  • Experience with proposal development, cost estimating, and technical volume authoring.
  • Ability to work under general direction, independently develop solutions, prioritize competing requirements, and take ownership of responsibilities to meet program objectives.


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
